A top price for Prabhakar Kolte - as previously expected
This work without title by Prabhakar Kolte was sold in the Indian Art including Miniatures and Modern Paintings auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2007. The price achieved of USD 42,000.00 (€ 31,404.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Prabhakar Kolte that we have observed at auctions so far.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 42.000,00 (€ 31.404,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden.
