In December 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Online, which included the work Kool Kids by Pow Martinez. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,718.36), 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pow Martinez; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot I.C. Water sold at auction in June 2020 with the realized price of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 10,050.31).

Im Dezember 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kool Kids von Pow Martinez zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.718,36) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Pow Martinez; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit I.C. Water im Juni 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 10.050,31).
