Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Poul Johansen could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, the work Two compositions with buildings and figure changed hands for DKK 1,650.00 (€ 221.30) - just shy of the DKK 3,000.00 estimate. Other works by Poul Johansen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June this year by the work “Fra den blå del af byen” (From the blue part of the city) at DKK 2,200.00 (€ 295.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Poul Johansen konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte die Arbeit Two compositions with buildings and figure für DKK 1.650,00 (€ 221,30) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Poul Johansen wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres die Arbeit “Fra den blå del af byen” (From the blue part of the city) mit DKK 2.200,00 (€ 295,35).
