Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Litographic print by Poul Gernes was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in February this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 1,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 750.00 (€ 100.74). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Poul Gernes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ohne Titel (Target) in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 23,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Litographic print von Poul Gernes im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 1.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 750,00 (€ 100,74) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Poul Gernes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Target) im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.750,00.
