Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Nine compositions by Poul Bjørklund was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in May this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 2,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 650.00 (€ 87.24). Admittedly, works by Poul Bjørklund have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Kærlighedsstuen” in March this year with an auction result of DKK 3,000.00 (€ 402.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Nine compositions von Poul Bjørklund im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 2.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 650,00 (€ 87,24) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Poul Bjørklund auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Kærlighedsstuen” im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 3.000,00 (€ 402,59).
