A top price for Pompeo Massani - as previously expected
The work Les Voyeurs by Pompeo Massani was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in November 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 22,400.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Les Voyeurs is the most expensive artwork by Pompeo Massani that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Les Voyeurs von Pompeo Massani wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 22.400,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Les Voyeurs das teuerste Kunstwerk von Pompeo Massani, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
