Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2001 a collector was able to acquire the work Pol Mara (1920-1998) by Pol Mara for NLG 705.00 (€ 326.53). This price was achieved in the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of NLG 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pol Mara achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans titre in December this year with an auction result of EUR 20,480.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2001 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pol Mara (1920-1998) von Pol Mara für NLG 705,00 (€ 326,53) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von NLG 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pol Mara erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans titre im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.480,00.
