A top price for Plinio De Martiis - as previously expected
In November 2013 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art Sale, which included the work 4 Ritratti D'Artista by Plinio De Martiis. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,375.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, 4 Ritratti D'Artista is the most expensive artwork by Plinio De Martiis that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit 4 Ritratti D'Artista von Plinio De Martiis zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.375,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist 4 Ritratti D'Artista das teuerste Kunstwerk von Plinio De Martiis, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
