Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2003 Christies in Milan held the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA, which included the work Maschere by Pippo Oriani. The price achieved of EUR 1,488.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pippo Oriani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Simultaneità organizzata in November 2021 with an auction result of EUR 22,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2003 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA durch, in der auch die Arbeit Maschere von Pippo Oriani zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.488,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pippo Oriani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Simultaneità organizzata im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.000,00.
