The work Studio di figure by Pio Semeghini was sold in the Moderrn and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in May 2013. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 750.00 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pio Semeghini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Merlettaia in May 2001 with an auction result of ITL 23,275,000.00 (€ 22,022.47).

Die Arbeit Studio di figure von Pio Semeghini wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Moderrn and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 750,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pio Semeghini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Merlettaia im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 23.275.000,00 (€ 22.022,47).
