In the Dipinti e Sculture Del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Composizione con frutta e ortaggi sold for EUR 1,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pio Semeghini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Merlettaia in May 2001 with an auction result of ITL 23,275,000.00 (€ 22,022.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pio Semeghini erzielte im November 2019 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture Del XIX e XX Secolo wurde die Arbeit Composizione con frutta e ortaggi für EUR 1.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pio Semeghini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Merlettaia im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 23.275.000,00 (€ 22.022,47).
