Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gigetta la Rossa (recto); Ragazza (verso) by Pio Semeghini was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,280.00 (€ 1,489.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pio Semeghini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Merlettaia in May 2001 with an auction result of ITL 23,275,000.00 (€ 22,022.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Gigetta la Rossa (recto); Ragazza (verso) von Pio Semeghini kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.280,00 (€ 1.489,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pio Semeghini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Merlettaia im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 23.275.000,00 (€ 22.022,47).
