Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Menina de Burano by Pio Semeghini for EUR 1,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,800.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pio Semeghini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Merlettaia in May 2001 with an auction result of ITL 23,275,000.00 (€ 22,022.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Menina de Burano von Pio Semeghini für EUR 1.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.800,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pio Semeghini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Merlettaia im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 23.275.000,00 (€ 22.022,47).
