In November 2018 Il Ponte held the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo, which included the work Composizione con frutta by Pio Semeghini. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,000.00 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pio Semeghini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Merlettaia in May 2001 with an auction result of ITL 23,275,000.00 (€ 22,022.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Im November 2018 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composizione con frutta von Pio Semeghini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.000,00 und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pio Semeghini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Merlettaia im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 23.275.000,00 (€ 22.022,47).
