In November 2018 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Figure con cane blu (Figure with Blue Dog) by Pinot Gallizio. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,750.00 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Pinot Gallizio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Italian Pittura Industriale in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 46,350.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Im November 2018 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figure con cane blu (Figure with Blue Dog) von Pinot Gallizio zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.750,00 und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pinot Gallizio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Italian Pittura Industriale im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 46.350,00.
