Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trofeo di caccia by Pino Pascali was sold in the Post-war and Contemporary Art - vente du soir auction at Christies in Paris in December 2018. It changed hands for a price of EUR 451,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pino Pascali have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Coda di delfino (Tail of a Dolphin) in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 2,629,000.00 (€ 2,928,785.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Trofeo di caccia von Pino Pascali wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion Post-war and Contemporary Art - vente du soir bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 451.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 300.000,00 – 500.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pino Pascali auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Coda di delfino (Tail of a Dolphin) im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.629.000,00 (€ 2.928.785,62).
