Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pietro Saltini could be acquired at Sothebys in London in October 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work Italian Dance To The Gods changed hands for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 3,027.27) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Saltini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian le Gioie Di Casa (Home Sweet Home) in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 38,431.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
