Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Ombra cinese by Piero Pizzi Canella. The price achieved of EUR 2,375.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Piero Pizzi Canella have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ombracinese in April 2006 with an auction result of EUR 10,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ombra cinese von Piero Pizzi Canella zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.375,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Piero Pizzi Canella auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ombracinese im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.200,00.
