In June 2010 Sothebys in Milan held the auction Important Old Master Paintings, which included the work Capriccio Con Rovine Classiche, Medievali E Rinascimentali by Pietro Gaspari. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,500.00 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pietro Gaspari - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Serenissimo Carolo Theodoro Comiti Palatino Rheni Tabulas Hasce Aedificandi Rationem. Venice, 1771., which sold at auction in June 2013 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 15,372.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2010 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion Important Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Capriccio Con Rovine Classiche, Medievali E Rinascimentali von Pietro Gaspari zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.500,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Pietro Gaspari mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Serenissimo Carolo Theodoro Comiti Palatino Rheni Tabulas Hasce Aedificandi Rationem. Venice, 1771. beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für USD 20.000,00 (€ 15.372,79) versteigert wurde.
