Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Christies in Paris held the auction Dessins anciens et du XIXe siècle, which included the work Projet de plafond by Pietro Francesco Guala. The price achieved of EUR 1,764.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Francesco Guala achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Philosopher in July 2006 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 43,916.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Dessins anciens et du XIXe siècle durch, in der auch die Arbeit Projet de plafond von Pietro Francesco Guala zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.764,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pietro Francesco Guala erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Philosopher im Juli 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 43.916,48).
