Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art, which included the work The Crowning Of Bacchus by Pietro Dandini. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 32,500.00 (€ 30,003.69). Other works by Pietro Dandini have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 35,280.00 (€ 32,876.71) in May last year for the work The Queen of Sheba presenting King Solomon with gifts.
