Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Christies in Milan held the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Evening Sale, which included the work Verde alga by Pietro Consagra. The price achieved of EUR 35,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pietro Consagra have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ferro trasparente bianco V in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 152,500.00 (€ 172,350.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Verde alga von Pietro Consagra zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 35.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pietro Consagra auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ferro trasparente bianco V im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 152.500,00 (€ 172.350,99).
