Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Doppia Bifrontale by Pietro Consagra for EUR 40,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Pietro Consagra have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ferro trasparente bianco V in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 152,500.00 (€ 172,350.99).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Doppia Bifrontale von Pietro Consagra für EUR 40.000,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pietro Consagra auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ferro trasparente bianco V im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 152.500,00 (€ 172.350,99).
