In December 2002 Christies in Rome held the auction DIPINTI E DISEGNI ANTICHI, which included the work Sacrificio di Mosè by Pietro Berrettini. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,160.00 40% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Berrettini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christ And The Woman Taken In Adultery in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 490,000.00 (€ 452,363.37).

Im Dezember 2002 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion DIPINTI E DISEGNI ANTICHI durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sacrificio di Mosè von Pietro Berrettini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.160,00 und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pietro Berrettini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Christ And The Woman Taken In Adultery im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 490.000,00 (€ 452.363,37).
