The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 22,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Pietro Antonio Rotari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A young girl hiding behind a muff in January 2003 with an auction result of USD 152,500.00 (€ 142,005.77).

Die Arbeit Portrait De Femme Au Vêtement Blanc von Pietro Antonio Rotari wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Tableaux et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 22.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
