Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Apollo and Daphne; and An Allegory with Labour being rewarded by Abundance and Peace, witnessed by Minerva and Time by Peter van Lint was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2010. It changed hands for a price of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,899.92) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter van Lint - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'Apollon du Belvedère, which sold at auction in May 2020 for EUR 112,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Apollo and Daphne; and An Allegory with Labour being rewarded by Abundance and Peace, witnessed by Minerva and Time von Peter van Lint kam im Dezember 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.899,92) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter van Lint mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'Apollon du Belvedère beobachtet, die im Mai 2020 für EUR 112.500,00 versteigert wurde.
