Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work Portrait Of A Lady by Pieter Nason. The price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,252.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pieter Nason have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of a lady, three-quarter-length, in a silver silk dress decorated with pearls, standing in a park landscape near a bush of roses in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 78,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady von Pieter Nason zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.252,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pieter Nason auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of a lady, three-quarter-length, in a silver silk dress decorated with pearls, standing in a park landscape near a bush of roses im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 78.250,00.
