In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work Le Tentazioni Di Sant'Antonio sold for EUR 23,050.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pieter Huys have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Temptation Of St. Anthony in June 2011 with an auction result of USD 206,500.00 (€ 142,188.25).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pieter Huys erzielte im Mai 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Paintings wurde die Arbeit Le Tentazioni Di Sant'Antonio für EUR 23.050,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pieter Huys auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Temptation Of St. Anthony im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 206.500,00 (€ 142.188,25).
