The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,956.90) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pieter Candid achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Euterpe in May this year with an auction result of EUR 127,000.00.

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 10.956,90) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pieter Candid erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Euterpe im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 127.000,00.
