Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Aquarium by Pierre Tal-Coat was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in March last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,024.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Tal-Coat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans titre in December last year with an auction result of EUR 50,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Aquarium von Pierre Tal-Coat kam im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.024,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Tal-Coat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans titre im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.400,00.
