The work A Young Noblewoman With Curled Blonde Hair, In Purple Dress With Pearl-Bordered Clasp And Ochre Cloak, Wearing A Pearl Necklace And Matching Pearl Drop Earrings by Pierre Signac was sold in the IMPORTANT PORTRAIT MINIATURES AND OBJECTS OF VERTU auction at Christies in London in July 2005. It achieved a price of GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,436.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Signac achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An important enamel miniature of Christina (1626-1689), Queen of Sweden 1632-1654, in white robes with black ribbon tied at neck, black cloak draped around her shoulders, her long light brown hair falling in curls in December 2003 with an auction result of GBP 58,555.00 (€ 82,935.49).

Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An important enamel miniature of Christina (1626-1689), Queen of Sweden 1632-1654, in white robes with black ribbon tied at neck, black cloak draped around her shoulders, her long light brown hair falling in curls im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 58.555,00 (€ 82.935,49).
