The price achieved of GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,840.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pierre Roch Vigneron have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Frenchthe Division in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 28,403.71).
