Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction BLÅ – A Life Estate H065, which included this untitled work by Pierre Olofsson. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 8,500.00 (€ 777.78) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Olofsson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Flick-Flack" in October 2009 with an auction result of SEK 320,000.00 (€ 30,752.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion BLÅ – A Life Estate H065 durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Pierre Olofsson zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 8.500,00 (€ 777,78) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Olofsson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Flick-Flack" im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 320.000,00 (€ 30.752,97).
