Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings and British Paintings, which included the work Still Life With A Loaf Of Bread, Oysters, Grapes And Dead Game by Pierre-Nicolas Huilliot. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,946.55) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre-Nicolas Huilliot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fruit In A Gilt Tazza With Ewers On Marble Ledges And A Monkey Smoking A Pipe On A Draped Ledge, With A Macaw, which sold at auction in April 2016 for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 47,936.15).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.946,55) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00.
