Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tunisie, Personnages En Conversation, 1965 by Pierre Lesieur was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June 2007. The price achieved of EUR 1,735.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pierre Lesieur have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Living Room Interior in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 17,500.00 (€ 11,241.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tunisie, Personnages En Conversation, 1965 von Pierre Lesieur kam im Juni 2007 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.735,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Lesieur auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Living Room Interior im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 11.241,01).
