Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Scene De Marche, 1967 by Pierre Lesieur. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 620.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Lesieur achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Living Room Interior in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 17,500.00 (€ 11,241.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scene De Marche, 1967 von Pierre Lesieur zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 620,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Lesieur erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Living Room Interior im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 11.241,01).
