This artwork by Pierre Lesieur achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in June 2007. In the Modern Art auction, the work Maisons En Bord De Mer, 1964 sold for EUR 4,337.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre Lesieur - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Living Room Interior, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 17,500.00 (€ 11,241.01).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pierre Lesieur erzielte im Juni 2007 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Maisons En Bord De Mer, 1964 für EUR 4.337,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pierre Lesieur mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Living Room Interior beobachtet, die im April 2008 für USD 17.500,00 (€ 11.241,01) versteigert wurde.
