It achieved a price of EUR 6,196.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 55 %. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pierre Lesieur; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Living Room Interior sold at auction in April 2008 with the realized price of USD 17,500.00 (€ 11,241.01).
