Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work By Car Or By Train by Pierre-Laurent Brenot was sold in the Vintage Posters and Olympic Icons auction at Christies in London in April 2012. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,686.40). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre-Laurent Brenot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Glance Back, which sold at auction in January 2014 for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,960.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit By Car Or By Train von Pierre-Laurent Brenot wurde im April 2012 in der Auktion Vintage Posters and Olympic Icons bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.686,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Pierre-Laurent Brenot mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Glance Back beobachtet, die im Januar 2014 für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.960,19) versteigert wurde.
