Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2001 Christies in London held the auction MODERN & POST-WAR ART, which included the work Composition by Pierre Lagage. The price achieved of GBP 705.00 (€ 1,171.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Lagage achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition - 1950 in April 2015 with an auction result of EUR 28,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion MODERN & POST-WAR ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von Pierre Lagage zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 705,00 (€ 1.171,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Lagage erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition - 1950 im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 28.600,00.
