Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Art, which included the work Le Triomphe D'Amphitrite by Pierre-Jacques Cazes. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 7,150.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre-Jacques Cazes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Birth of Venus in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 98,500.00 (€ 76,014.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Triomphe D'Amphitrite von Pierre-Jacques Cazes zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 7.150,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre-Jacques Cazes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Birth of Venus im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 98.500,00 (€ 76.014,82).
