Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Composition by Pierre Gastaud. The price achieved of EUR 620.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500.00 – 700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pierre Gastaud - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, 1961, which sold at auction in June 2007 for EUR 2,478.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von Pierre Gastaud zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 620,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pierre Gastaud mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition, 1961 beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für EUR 2.478,00 versteigert wurde.
