Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, Drawings and Prints, which included the work Paysage Par Temps Couvert by Pierre Ernest Prins. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 620.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Pierre Ernest Prins have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'embouchure de la Laïta au Pouldu in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,835.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, Drawings and Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage Par Temps Couvert von Pierre Ernest Prins zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 620,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Ernest Prins auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'embouchure de la Laïta au Pouldu im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.835,90).
