Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Sur La Côte Bretonne' by Pierre Emmanuel Damoye was sold in the Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in September 2007. The price achieved of EUR 4,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pierre Emmanuel Damoye have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Prairies Inondées, Pas de Calais in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 23,764.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'Sur La Côte Bretonne' von Pierre Emmanuel Damoye wurde im September 2007 in der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Emmanuel Damoye auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Prairies Inondées, Pas de Calais im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 23.764,26).
