Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calm Down by Pierre Dunoyer was sold in the The House Sale auction at Christies in New York in August 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 500.00 – 700.00, the actual price achieved of USD 540.00 (€ 422.11) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Dunoyer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vert - 1996 in June this year with an auction result of EUR 15,744.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calm Down von Pierre Dunoyer wurde im August 2006 in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 540,00 (€ 422,11) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Dunoyer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vert - 1996 im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.744,00.
