In the Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction, the work An Architectural Capriccio With A Marble Sculpture And Figures; And An Architectural Capriccio With Figures Resting By The Gentle Cascade Of Water Over The Stone changed hands for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,630.17) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre-Antoine Demachy achieve.
