Auction result misses estimated price range
In May last year a collector was able to acquire the work Suzanne by Pierre-André Brouillet for USD 69,300.00 (€ 64,579.26). This price was achieved in the auction Belle Époque Splendor: The Discerning Eye of a Collector at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Pierre-André Brouillet have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2005 by the work Suzanne et les vieux messieurs at USD 96,000.00 (€ 80,033.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
