Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Piero Marussig could be acquired at Il Ponte in May 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Moderrn and Contemporary Art auction, the work Il giardino della villa changed hands for EUR 7,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 9,000.00 – 13,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Piero Marussig - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Donna con borsetta, which sold at auction in May 2021 for EUR 27,720.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Piero Marussig konnte im Mai 2013 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Moderrn and Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Il giardino della villa für EUR 7.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 9.000,00 – 13.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Piero Marussig mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Donna con borsetta beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für EUR 27.720,00 versteigert wurde.
