Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Vaso con fiori rosa by Pieretto Bianco was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 800.00 – 900.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 700.00. Admittedly, works by Pieretto Bianco have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A mother holding her baby by a canal in January 2002 with an auction result of GBP 3,760.00 (€ 6,177.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Vaso con fiori rosa von Pieretto Bianco im November 2015 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 900,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 700,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pieretto Bianco auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A mother holding her baby by a canal im Januar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.760,00 (€ 6.177,71).
