Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scorcio Urbano by Pieretto Bianco was auctioned at Christies in Rome in June 2001. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,800.00 – 2,200.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,837.50 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pieretto Bianco - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A mother holding her baby by a canal, which sold at auction in January 2002 for GBP 3,760.00 (€ 6,177.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Scorcio Urbano von Pieretto Bianco kam im Juni 2001 bei Christies in Rom zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.800,00 – 2.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.837,50 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Pieretto Bianco mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A mother holding her baby by a canal beobachtet, die im Januar 2002 für GBP 3.760,00 (€ 6.177,71) versteigert wurde.
